The pihms Medical Management package increases medical provider and administrator efficiency with a user-friendly, web-based application that was designed by physicians and nurses.
Key features of this solution include data fields for SOAP notes, including chief complaint; medical, family and social history; medications; allergies; ICD coding; CPT billing; and work restrictions. A complete visit summary can be generated for each visit, as can a complete visit history for each patient. Automated OSHA/RIDDOR decision logic is incorporated into the software design, facilitating tracking of OSHA/RIDOOR recordable injuries. Referral forms, authorizations and other reports can readily be generated, including first report of injury, and OSHA/RIDDOR-required reporting.
Notes entered by healthcare providers are automatically labeled with the provider name, date and time entered. Notes have a ‘line out’ feature to void errors, and can be locked to prevent unauthorized editing.
This solution is integrated with the pihms Work Related, Non Work-Related, Scheduler, Medical Surveillance and Safety solutions to minimize duplicate data entry.
