Get a Grip on the Impact of Absenteeism and Learn How You Can Deliver Cost Savings & Improve Productivity

Information Seminar - 13th November 2007. Oracle Customer Visitor Centre , Edinburgh 10am - 1pm

Absenteeism costs the UK economy £13 billion a year – about £600 a year per employee, according to industry group Business in the Community (BITC). See the recent BBC news clip for the latest trends in “absence management.” http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/em/fr/-/1/hi/northern_ireland/6980311.stm

Mercer, a human resources consultancy, says the direct costs for work absence and paid leave equal approximately 15 percent of total payroll. And indirect costs often amount to more than 3 times that number.

And while absenteeism in the workplace is nearing record highs, companies large and small often compound the problem with inefficient and ineffective absence management processes and systems. Without a fully integrated system that addresses all constituencies involved in absence management, companies lack the means to improve service to its employees while at the same time delivering real bottom-line cost savings.

Oracle and KCRS, Inc. – a global provider of absence management and productivity improvement systems – have teamed up to present a half-day session to discuss how companies can utilize KCRS’s PIHMS® knowledgeware to:
